Introducing Scribeberry AI

Scribeberry is an AI-powered tool that generates structured SOAP notes from your patient conversations. Instead of manually typing encounter notes, you can now record your patient interactions or dictate a summary, and Scribeberry automatically creates a formatted note that you can review and send directly to the patient's encounter record.

To access it, click Scribeberry AI at the top of a patient's encounter note, then use the microphone to record your conversation with the patient or dictate your summary. Scribeberry analyzes the audio and generates a SOAP-formatted note, which you can review before clicking Send to TELUS CHR to add it to the patient's record.

Setting up billing delegates

Providers will soon control who can view and manage their billing information. When the billing segregation feature becomes available, delegated users will be able to log into the Billing dashboard and view only the billing records from the provider who granted them access.

To prepare for the launch of this feature, we recommend you set up your billing delegates now by clicking your avatar > Profile and selecting the Billing tab. In the Billing tab, which is always visible, you can search for and select the users and groups to grant billing access to. The system displays the total number of delegated users, and you can remove users at any time to immediately revoke their access.

Automatically saving referral changes

When you click Message or Generate & send after updating a referral, your changes are now automatically saved without requiring a confirmation prompt, eliminating an extra click.

TELUS Health Connect: Viewing connected contacts from patient records

You can now view and manage all child records connected to a parent patient record directly from the parent's profile in the CHR, providing a complete bidirectional view of patient relationships.

Click the purple TELUS Health Connect icon in the patient header to view all patients linked to this account. You can also remove connections from this view, and the system will reflect the change across both patient records.

  • When you add a medication to a prescription and review it in Patient’s Medications, the time in the Last prescribed column now displays "Today" or "Yesterday" based on when the medication started, rather than displaying elapsed time in minutes or days.

  • Files received via eFax in the inbox are now clickable and accessible.

  • You can now archive referrals without encountering an error.

  • eFax status updates now properly reflect when faxes fail to send, ensuring users receive notifications about transmission issues.

  • New Brunswick: Patient identification validation now works correctly for all clinic configurations.

📌 Note: New CHR versions are released on a regular bi-weekly schedule. However, there are times where a fix is released prior to the next scheduled release. These off-schedule release fixes are documented in the separate off-schedule release notes.
