You can customize various settings in encounters to tailor to your personal needs. When you change these settings, they affect only your encounters, and not those of other users.

Steps

1. Open a new or draft encounter.

2. In the bottom-right corner of the encounter, click the gear icon.

The Encounter Settings window opens.

3. Customize your settings, using the following table as a reference.

Setting

Description

Natural Language Paragraphs

You can choose which section the "Natural Language Paragraphs" should populate into. For more information on Natural Language Paragraphs, see Setting up natural language in Qnaires.

You are able to select how many previous vital records you would like to see in the Encounter. You can also customize what entry field columns display (see Customizing what vitals and measurements entry columns display in encounters).

Hide Selected Section(s)

You have the option of "hiding" specific sections within the Encounter.

4. Click Save.
