🎞️ View video tutorial: Adding facilities and contacts
The TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR)'s "address book" is organized by facilities and their associated contacts (providers or other individuals who work out of the facility). Before you can add a contact, you must add the contact's facility (see Adding and modifying facilities). You then add the contact from the facility (see Adding and modifying contacts).
The same address book is shared among all users in your clinic; when you add facilities and contacts, everyone has access to them.
A facility can have an unlimited number of contacts. If a contact works out of multiple facilities, you must re-add the contact to each facility. This makes it easy to search for a provider at the location you want.
You can remove a facility and all its associated contacts at once. You can also remove an individual contact from a facility. See Deleting facilities and contacts.
