You use billing item templates when you bill patients and/or third parties regularly, for example insurance companies and lawyers. You can customise billing item templates and group billing codes together. The billing codes can be pulled from provincial billing systems or you can create clinic-specific billing codes.
By default, your clinic has one third-party and one private billing template in your CHR domain: Third Party and Private Pay.
If you use billing item templates when you create third-party or private bills, TELUS Health can associate each billing item template to an invoice template for you. We can also create new invoice templates for you. See Variables for use in third-party and private invoice templates.
To request changes to your default billing templates, contact the TELUS Health support team through the in-app support bubble. See Contact us.
