⚠️ Important: We recommend using Google Chrome for security purposes.

To use the TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR), you must always log in with your email address and password. Keep your password private; it is your electronic signature. The system uses your email address to keep track of who made entries/changes. Only do work while signed in under your own email address and password.

📌 Note: If you have single sign-on enabled, you do not need to type your password. See Enabling Single Sign On (SSO) for your clinic for more information.

Steps

1. Open Google Chrome and navigate to your clinic's domain.

If this is your first time logging into the CHR, type the address of your CHR domain in the address bar, such as yourclinic.inputhealth.com. Your TELUS Health implementation team will have provided you with your domain.

2. Click Staff.

💡 Tip: When the login page appears, bookmark the page for easy access by clicking the star icon to the right of the address bar.

3. Type your Email Address and Password.

💡 Tip: If you forgot your password, click Forgot Password? You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. For more information, see Resetting your password.

4. Press Enter {Return} or click Login.

5. If you have configured two-factor authentication (see Enabling two-factor authentication), enter the authentication code. Codes sent via SMS are active for 5 minutes; codes sent via email are active for 10 minutes; and codes sent via an authenticator app are active for 30 seconds.

📌 Note: In a situation where you are unable to receive the two-factor authentication code (for example, if you have misplaced your phone or are unable to login to your email), reach out to your clinic lead or manager and ask them to temporarily change the two-factor authentication setting (click Settings > Account > Users > click Edit next to the specific user and select Security).

5. If your clinic has a clinic-wide message configured, a new window with the message title and content appears. Read the content and if you are required to agree to the information read, select I accept and then Continue.

📌 Note: If you click Cancel, you are brought back to the login page and asked to enter your credentials again.

7. The CHR opens to your default landing page. The default landing page is Patients, but you can change this. For more information about configuring your landing page, see Setting up your account profile.
