๐๏ธ View video tutorial: Using the TELUS Collaborative Health Record UpPatient app
UpPatient is the TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR) patient app. Using this app, your patients can connect to any CHR clinic they're registered at, provided the clinic is configured with this offering.
Through the UpPatient app, patients can easily join their virtual visits and communicate with their provider through video, audio and chat messaging. During a virtual visit, a patient can receive a task from the provider. For example, they can be assigned a Qnaire to complete. These tasks can be completed during or after the visit.
๐ Note: If a patient does not have access to the UpPatient app, they can still attend a virtual visit from any device using the email/SMS link they receive.
Through the UpPatient app, patients can:
Book, change and cancel appointments
Complete any unfinished assigned Qnaires
๐ Note: Qnaires sent from a patient's chart cannot be viewed or completed using the patient app. Only Qnaires attached to appointments or assigned during virtual visits are accessible.Be notified when it's time for a virtual visit (with a join link)

Patients are prompted to download the UpPatient app and connect to your clinic when you invite them to do so. See:
Patients can also manually download the UpPatient app from Google Play or the Apple App store, and request to connect to your clinic. See Creating an UpPatient account and connecting to a clinic (for patients).
The UpPatient app has an intuitive interface and allows patients to reset their password when they forget it. If patients have trouble remembering passwords, they can choose to enable biometric authentication (fingerprint or face scan) instead.
