Improvements

New alert when medication name is changed and existing dosage information is updated

When editing a prescription and updating the medication name with a favourite medication, any fields where dosing information has changed now display a caution icon. You should review the information for accuracy.

Alphabetized location lists

In the areas of the CHR where a list of locations appears (e.g the schedule, billing templates, prescriptions), the locations are now listed in alphabetical order. The Virtual location is always at the bottom of the list.

Recording a physiotherapist’s licensing body

You can now select a physiotherapist’s provincial college in the Licensing Body field of their user profile.

📌Note: You must have Edit other users permission to designate a user’s licensing body.

To update these details for a user, refer to Updating users' general profile information and settings.

Custom filtering of user groups in the schedule

When you filter the schedule by user groups and you modify the filter applied, if the users do not match the members in the selected user group, the filter name now displays Custom Filter instead of the last user group chosen.

Refer to Filtering the schedule for more information.

Redesigned personal information settings

Your profile information is now organized in tabs in a newly-redesigned Personal information window. Your personal security settings, such as password change, are also included in this window. Click your avatar > Profile and select a tab to edit your information.

For more information, refer to Updating your user profile information.

Rescheduled eBooking appointment status remains as confirmed

When an appointment type's default status from a patient is Confirmed and a patient reschedules their appointment through eBooking, the appointment default status now remains as Confirmed. You no longer need to go in the schedule and manage the requested appointment.

Setting a default prescription renewal start date

When renewing prescriptions, you can now select whether the date on the prescription renewal is the current date or the previous end date of the medication. The start date of a renewed prescription is set to the current date by default. To change this, select your preferred start date in Settings > Prescription > My Prescription Renewals.

📌 Note: This is a user-specific setting.

You can also quickly change the start date on the prescription by selecting the appropriate radio button.

Additional medication dosing frequency options

When prescribing medications, more options for hourly, daily, weekly and monthly intervals have been added to allow for more specific dosing frequency.

PEI: Location-based access

⚠️ Important: This feature must be enabled by TELUS Health so the changes may not be immediately visible in your system. Your EMR Program will send further communication when this feature is available.

Global settings permission for form templates

Only users with the Location segregation: Global settings permission can add, edit or archive (and unarchive) global form templates (Settings > Templates > Form).
