The CHR uses a comprehensive province-specific Preventive Care Report dashboard to track and manage patient compliance with various screening tests. The report aggregates information from multiple sources, including patient files, to determine compliance status. Proper categorization and correct file naming of patient files are crucial for accurate reporting and compliance tracking in the Preventive Care Report dashboard.
The CHR has the following preconfigured standard patient file names for preventive care measures, including:
Mammogram Screening
Diagnostic Mammogram
FIT Test
Colonoscopy
Pap Smear
Gynecology Cytology
If you do not see them in your CHR (Settings > Patient File > Patient File Names), configure the standard file names. Refer to Configuring patient file names. Alternatively, contact the TELUS Health support team through the support chat.
When adding files related to preventive care compliance to the patient chart, select the standard file name of that preventive care measure from the list. Then, set the date to when the test was performed.
📌Note: Compliance is determined by pulling information from patient files, lab results, patient data, forms, and injections, using the most recent date.
Steps
1. Upload a patient file from your computer to a patient chart.
2. In the Upload File window that appears, in the File Name field, click to search and select a preconfigured preventive care file name.
3. Add additional text after the standard file name if required
📌Note: The preconfigured file name can appear anywhere in the file name, i.e. not necessarily first.
4. The Date field defaults to the current date. Modify the date to reflect the date the test was performed.
