The eClaims Insured Payments analytics dashboard allows you to view details on claims that were submitted to eClaims-enabled insurers in a given period of time, including how much was paid, refused or held, and the outstanding balance. You can filter the dashboard to specify data that you want to see, for example, all eClaims submitted by a specific provider.

For general information on how to use Analytics, refer to Analytics dashboards.

Steps

1. In the CHR main menu, click Analytics.

2. In the Dashboards search field, type eClaims Insured Payments, and select the dashboard.

3. At the top of the window, click the Load icon. The dashboard is displayed.

You can view a summary of all claim statuses in a pie chart, the number of claims submitted per fee code used, and all outstanding claims (claims with a status that is not cancelled or completed).

⚠️Important: Reports show a maximum of 5,000 entries.

4. To refine your results, use the filters as needed. For example, you can filter by provider to only see their outstanding bills or insured payments. You can filter the results based on specific eClaim-supported insurers. For more information, refer to Filtering analytics dashboards.

5. To view detailed information for a specific fee code, outstanding claim balance, or eClaims payment, click the total amount in the table. To open all claims with a specific status, click a status in the Bill Status pie chart. For more information, refer to Exploring or drilling into analytics reports.

6. To access a patient chart, in the Patient ID column, click the patient ID and then the Patient Chart link. Similarly, to access a claim, in the Payment ID column, click the payment ID and then the Bill link.

7. To export the data from a report, hover over the report tile, click the menu icon in the top-right corner of the report and select Download data. For more information, go to Downloading data from analytics reports.
