Frequently asked questions
Can I keep my existing fax number with eFax?
Yes, we can port your existing fax number to the Integrated eFax service. When you contact us to sign up for Integrated eFax, we will ask if you have an existing number you want to port.
What's the cost per month for eFax?
Integrated eFax costs can vary depending on the number of pages. The cost is automatically calculated based on bundles of 1,500 combined incoming and outgoing fax pages per month. Each page sent or received within a 60-second increment counts as one page.
For example, a one page fax that takes 90 seconds to transmit counts as two pages. A two page fax that takes 30 seconds to transmit counts as two pages.
What happens if I exceed the monthly page limit?
Additional fax volumes in increments of 1,500 pages automatically trigger fees payable for the additional fax bundle.
If we have multiple fax numbers, will we receive an invoice for each fax number?
Invoicing is done per CHR domain (URL). We are not able to provide an invoice per physical location or per user. If you have multiple physical sites that use the same domain, you will receive only one invoice. Integrated eFax is billed based on the actual volume of fax pages sent and received in a given month per domain.
Can I cancel my Integrated eFax service?
Yes. The Integrated eFax service operates on a monthly contract basis, and you can cancel your service with a 30-day notice period. To cancel your eFax service, contact care.emraccounts@telus.com.
