To create a new contact in your account, first go to the Contacts dashboard. InputHealth was designed to require a place (Facility) to be created first, with a person or multiple people within that Facility. 

To create a Facility, click the New Facility button in the top right hand corner of your screen. 

This will open the Facility dialogue box where you can enter the name of the facility (enter the address or name of the clinician if this is not relevant), as well as other demographic information of that location. Once you have entered all of the relevant information, click Save.

This will open the Facility where you can add a Contact by clicking the New Contact button.

Just like when creating a Facility, this will open a dialogue box where you can add in all of the necessary demographic details.

Once this information has been entered click Save. This contact is now searchable in the system.
