Updating your clinic's account information

From your clinic's Account Information settings, you can set a number of clinic-wide default settings for your TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR). This includes:

  • The clinic contact information that appears in the footer (at the bottom) of any notifications sent to patients through email or text message.

  • The clinic name that appears at the top of your eBooking web site

  • The region (province) the CHR should default its features for (for example, for billing defaults)

This feature must be configured by the TELUS CHR Support account. Contact the TELUS Health support team through the support chat for more information.

Steps

1. From the main menu, click Settings > Account information > General.

2. Using the following table, add or modify your clinic's account information.

Field

Description

Account Logo

Click the icon to upload a photo. Select a .png or .jpg image from your computer.

To replace or remove an existing logo, click the logo and select either Upload new photo or Remove photo.

📌 Note: If you have CHR Connect Pro, your clinic’s logo appears in the My clinics section of the Connect app and when patients search for clinics.

Account Name

Enter your clinic name.
When patients book appointments through your eBooking site, this name appears at the top of the site pages and in the site footers.

📌 Note: If your clinic has multiple locations, this name appears on the eBooking site for all locations.

Account Language

If you have French enabled in your system, select English or French as the default language for the CHR. When users are logged in, they can change their language (avatar > Language). If they set their language to Account Default, it uses the language specified here.

The account language is also used when sending patient notifications. If a patient does not have English or French specified as their primary or secondary language, the notification is sent in the account language.

Country

Your clinic's country must be updated by the TELUS CHR Support team.

Province/State

Enter your clinic's province or state.

⚠️ Important: The CHR automatically applies province-specific defaults to various CHR features based on the province you select, such as billing defaults.

City

Enter your clinic's city.

📌 Note: This information does not appear on any of your patient-facing CHR sites, apps, or notifications.

Zip/Postal Code

Enter your clinic's postal code or zip code.

📌 Note: This information does not appear on any of your patient-facing CHR sites, apps, or notifications.

Street Address

Enter your clinic's street address.
📌 Note: This address does not appear on any of your patient-facing CHR sites, apps, or notifications.

Additional Address

If your clinic's address requires two address lines, enter the second address line here.
📌 Note: This address does not appear on any of your patient-facing CHR sites, apps, or notifications.

Time Zone

Enter your clinic's default time zone. The time zone determines how appointment times display on your CHR appointment schedules and on your eBooking site.

If your clinic has multiple locations that are located in different time zones, for each location, you can set a unique time zone. See Creating and modifying clinic locations.

⚠️ Important: For eBooking, virtual visit appointments (both appointment time selection and appointment times on notifications) use this time zone. They do not use the location's time zone.

Date Format

Select the default format dates are to display in throughout the CHR.

Facebook

If your clinic has a Facebook site, and you want a link to the site to display on your eBooking site and at the bottom of any notifications sent to patients through email or text message, enter your Facebook site URL.

Twitter

If your clinic has a Twitter handle, and you want a link to your Twitter profile to display on your eBooking site and at the bottom of any notifications sent to patients through email or text message, enter your Twitter profile URL.

Website

If your clinic has a website, and you want a link to your website to display on your eBooking site and at the bottom of any notifications sent to patients through email or text message, enter your website URL.

Email

When patients reply to messages your clinic sends through the CHR, if you want their responses to come back to you as emails (instead of CHR inbox messages), enter the email address here.

⚠️ Important: If you want patient message replies to appear in your CHR inbox, leave this field blank.

Phone Number

If you want your clinic's phone number to display on your eBooking site and at the bottom of any notifications sent to patients through email or text message, enter your phone number.

Fax Number

If you want your clinic's fax number to display on your eBooking site and at the bottom of any notifications sent to patients through email or text message, enter your fax number.

3. Click Save.

4. Refresh your browser for your changes to take effect.
