Off-schedule Release Notes (2024)

2024

Updated this week

New CHR versions are released on a regular bi-weekly schedule. However, there are times where a fix is released prior to the next scheduled release. These off-schedule release fixes are documented here and are not included in the main release notes, unless it is an improvement.

  • In Schedules, you can now see the working hour block colour behind the coloured bar that triggers the demographics snapshot.

November 2024

Version 24.23.11 - November 29, 2024

  • We made several fixes to virtual visits:

    • The audio is enabled by default.

    • You can still join the visit if you deny the camera and microphone permissions.

    • You can grant camera and microphone permissions during the call.

    • The mute status is visible for all participants.

Version 24.23.4 - November 21, 2024

Using a point of sale terminal to collect payments

If your CHR is configured with a Stripe integration, you can collect payments from patients in the office with a point of sale (POS) terminal.

You must first log into your Stripe dashboard to purchase a terminal and then configure your location. For more information, refer to the Stripe help to Manage locations and Register readers or contact Stripe.

📌Note: Only the BBPOS WisePOS E is supported for use in the CHR.

After creating the bill, when you make a payment select Terminal Payment (Stripe) as the payment Method. Then select your location in Point of Sale and then select the Card Reader.

Once you click Submit, the Stripe terminal will prompt for payment.

📌Note: If you do not have an existing Stripe integration and want to sign up, contact chrconnectsupport@telus.com.
