🎞️ View video tutorial: Viewing your Visits dashboard
The Visits dashboard is a list of all your appointments for the day and optimizes your workflow. From the Visits dashboard, you can view your patient appointments for the day (including the status of the appointment), access a patient's chart, start an encounter, and view and add bills.
To access the Visits dashboard, from the main menu, click Visits.
📌 Note: This is an optional feature that can be enabled for your clinic. If you do not see the Visits icon in the main menu, contact the support team for more information.
The Visits dashboard appears, showing all appointments for today.
💡 Tip: You can expand the window to see more information and move it around your screen.
The following columns are available:
Column | Description |
Appointment | Show the appointment start and end time, the appointment status, the type of appointment and the presenting issue.
Click to open a window with more information about the appointment and where you can change the status of the appointment, start an encounter, and add fee items. |
Note | Any notes recorded for the appointment. |
Practitioner | The schedule the appointment is booked in. |
Patient | The patient's first and last name. Click to open the patient's chart. |
Contact Info | The patient's cell and home phone numbers and address. |
Family Doctor | The patient's family doctor. |
Insured | Any insured billing items billed for this visit.
Icons next to the fee items indicate their status and attachment and can help you locate payments in the CHR. The paperclip icon indicates the fee item is attached to an encounter.
The dot icon indicates the fee item isn't attached to any encounter but has a service date matching the Visits dashboard filter date. Click in the column to open the visit and go to the Insured tab to see more information about the fee items, and to add fee items. |
Private | Any private billing items billed for this visit. Click in the column to see more information about the fee items, and to add fee items. |
Tags | Tags included on the appointment. |
Encounter | Displays the presenting issue recorded in the encounter note. Click the encounter to see the entire Assessment and Plan, including diagnosis codes.
