Dashboards for payments by provider, pay method (cash, credit card, debit, etc.) and fee code

Updated over a week ago

The Billing Payments analytics dashboards allow you to view details of payments you received. There are two different dashboards:

For general information on how to use Analytics, see Analytics dashboards.

Steps

1. From the main menu, click Analytics.

2. In the Dashboards search field, start typing "Billing Payments", and select the insured or private dashboard.

3. Set your filters (see Filtering analytics dashboards). By default, both dashboards display payments received in the last day. Change the value in the Transaction Date filter to see more or less results.

You can also filter by provider, pay method, payment tag, or fee code, for example.

📌 Note: We recommend using the Transaction Date filter and not the Service Date filter when reporting on payments; totals will change if bills are added for the service date range after you run the report.

4. At the top of the window, click the Load icon. The dashboard is displayed.

You can view the total paid, and view the payments by provider, date, payment method (cash, credit, debit, etc.) or fee code, as well as a detailed report of all payments.

⚠️Important: Reports show a maximum of 5000 entries. Use the filters to refine your results as needed.

5. To view detailed information for a specific payment method, provider or fee code, click the total amount in the table for that payment method, provider or fee code. A detailed list of payments appears. For more information, refer to Exploring or drilling into analytics reports.

6. To go to a specific bill, in the Payment Report or Paid Report, click on the Payment Link, then click Bill. The bill opens in a new tab.

7. To export the data from a report, hover over the report tile, click the menu icon in the top-right corner of the report and select Download data. For more information, go to Downloading data from analytics reports.
