Improvements

Appointment reminders

When you configure appointment reminders, there are more time options to choose from. You can now send appointment reminders 1 to 8 hours after an appointment. This is beneficial for clinics who want to send out post-visit Qnaires immediately after the appointment. See Customizing appointment reminders for appointment types.

Virtual visits

After receiving valuable feedback from our users, we improved the display of the video, microphone and phone icons on the virtual visits screen. You can now see all icons clearly, as soon as you start a video chat. For more information, see Starting a virtual visit.

Scoring of numerical questions in Qnaires

You can now score the answers to numerical questions based on the exact patient response. When a patient enters 100 in a numerical question it can be used as the score. For example, a clinic uses a Qnaire to calculate infusions based on patient weight and medication dosages. See Creating numerical question types and Configuring custom scores in Qnaires for more details.

Exporting Data

We have enhanced the security around exporting clinic-wide information from your CHR account. Any user who performs a data export must have two-factor authentication enabled. For more information, see Exporting data from the CHR and Enabling two-factor authentication for your account.

Fixes

Below is a list of bugs we identified and fixed in this release. For more information, contact our TELUS Health support team.

  • Group visit reminders were sent out on incorrect dates.

  • When updating or editing patient data in Qnaire questions, the heading and button descriptions are visible again.

  • When using checkboxes in form templates with auto marking conditions
linked to a patient data point with multi-select fields configured, it would only auto select the check box if the word or phrase entered in patient data was the exact word or phrase in the form auto marking condition. This setting is now case-sensitive.

  • For our Manitoba clients using the Home Clinic Enrolment Integration, the information in the remediation message no longer replaces existing patient demographics, except when the remediation message has new values to add to demographics.

What's new in the CHR help

Here’s what we recently added to the CHR help (help.inputhealth.com):

CHR training videos

We continue to augment our CHR training videos. They are available to you in the Tutorial video library within the CHR help.

Injections

Our Injections collection has grown! Learn how to manage clinic-wide frequent injections to facilitate quicker entries and ensure consistent data entry. This enables you to run analytics reports and pull injections into flowsheets and other areas of the CHR.

eBooking

We created more articles around customizing your patient eBooking site. See our eBooking help article collection.

Scheduled time of update: Evening of October 19, 2021

No preparation is required in advance of the update. All CHR update activities are managed by TELUS Health via a zero-downtime rolling deployment in the CHR’s cloud infrastructure, which allows the system to operate without interruption of service during updates.

No data migration is required as part of this update.
