Improvements
Creating and saving user-specific schedule filters
When you filter your schedule to meet your individual requirements, you can now save the filter for future use. This makes it much easier and quicker to switch between specific sets of locations, providers, appointment types, and appointment statuses.
For example, if you frequently need to check the schedules of certain providers offering physical exams, you can save that filter for quick access in the future.
Filter your schedule and click Save filter set to save it. For more information, refer to Creating custom filters in the schedule.
Managing prenatal information
📌Note: TELUS Health must manually enable this feature following the release. It could take up to 24 hours before you see the functionality.
We added a new section, Obstetrical Care, to the Health Profile to improve the management of information for your patients' current and past pregnancies. Using the Obstetrical Care section you can easily review all pregnancy details in one place.
You can record preconception data, such as the contraception method, as well as pregnancy details, like your patient’s last menstrual period. Estimated date of birth and gestational age are calculated automatically. You can also select your preferred dating method or manually add the estimated date of birth.
Once the pregnancy is complete, you can also record the outcome of a patient's pregnancy.
For more information, refer to Recording prenatal information and Recording a pregnancy result.
Adding tables to form templates
You can now easily add fillable tables to forms via Settings > Templates > Forms. You can add headers, rows, and columns to the table, and resize them to suit your specific layout needs. For more information, refer to Adding tables to form templates.
When completing a form with a table, you can add additional rows. If the completed table exceeds the configured area, an appendix is automatically generated at the end of the form.
Each time you modify and save the form, a PDF version is saved in the form's History section as a clickable link.
Viewing all medication details in the modify medication window
When editing a medication, you can now view every field you initially completed, including the information saved in the Extra tab. In the Modify Medication window, click the View original details link to see the read-only information of that medication entry.
If the medication has an end date, it is now included in the details below the medication name.
PEI: Reorganised layout of PrescribeIT response messages
To improve message comprehension and facilitate quicker access to pertinent information, we reorganised the layout of message details of the PrescribeIT response messages:
Message titles, sent date and time, internal instructions, patient details, prescription information, and links to the prescription are now prominently displayed at the top of the message.
We moved technical details from the Provider Registry to the bottom of the message.
Important data within the message is now bold instead of the labels.
Medication information is indented, with links to view prescriptions or dispense notifications aligned under respective medication details.
PEI: Billing for emergencies without a start time
When creating a bill and you select the Emergency checkbox, you are now only prompted to select the Start Time and Time Spent if the fee code requires it.
Enabling CHR Connect by clinic location and provider
CHR Connect can now be enabled by location as well as provider. This is useful if you are a multi-location clinic and want to roll out CHR Connect only for one of your clinic locations. Similarly, some of your providers might want to use CHR Connect and others not.
If CHR Connect is enabled by location, all the patients for that location will be directed to the CHR Connect app to read their appointment notifications and manage their bookings.
If CHR Connect is enabled by provider and they send their patient a message or a billing invoice, the patient will be directed to the CHR Connect app. Similarly, if you manage referrals and your system is set up to notify a patient automatically, if the service provider has CHR Connect enabled, the patient is directed to read the notification in CHR Connect.
📌Note: This feature is configured when CHR Connect is first enabled. To start using CHR Connect, contact chrconnectsupport@telus.com.
Fixes
Users without the Contacts permission can search for contacts again.
When you edit a patient's Growth Chart more than once, the Patient Data > Vitals entry is updated each time.
When booking appointments with appointment types that have Auto assigning workflow phase enabled, the appointment cards are consistently moved into the specific workflow phase in Pathways again.
When printing appointments from the Update Information section of a patient’s chart, deleted appointments no longer appear in the list of appointments. When you generate a PDF, the appointment status No show no longer appears as Cancelled.
When a Qnaire question is set to save the response to patient data, the last updated date in the patient chart shows the correct date and the value is recorded in the history, even if the value is unchanged.
Lab results with an empty ID are no longer grouped together if the lab test names are not the same. All lab test names appear in the lab report as expected, and you can once again graph these results.
When searching for the latest lab result in the Lab Results section of a patient’s chart, labs with the same accession number and the same date are properly grouped together and display only once.
Under Settings > Personal Information > Preferences > Primary assistant, when selecting a name, a check mark appears beside the name.
For clinics using role-based access control, when faxing a prescription you can once again see the Send History of the prescription, as long as you have the permissions Prescription: Read.
For clinics using role-based access control, you can edit or remove a resource set from an assigned role again.
