Version 25.6 - May 12, 2025

  • Patients can now see your screen when you share it during a virtual visit. For more information, refer to Screen sharing during virtual visits.

  • Patients now click on links you share with them, for example, via messages, broadcasts, and virtual visit chat messages.

  • Patients now link their dependents' account in the Connected Circle section, previously known as Family Management.

  • When a patient signs up for CHR Connect using their Gmail login information, and then logs in with Google single-sign-on using the same Gmail account, they are now connect to the same CHR Connect account.

  • For security reasons, patients must have a passcode on their device to use CHR Connect. We have improved error messaging for situations when a patient has not set a passcode.

  • The CHR Connect app information page, which patients see before signing up, now clearly displays the desktop version information and link. This helps patients understand that they do not need to download the CHR Connect application.

  • CHR Connect now accepts the same formatting for the NWT identification type as the CHR.

  • Patients can now see the chat window while waiting for you to join their virtual visit.

  • When a patient responds to a message on behalf of their dependent, the message now retains the original patient's information. Additionally, the message indicates who sent it and on whose behalf (the dependent).

  • When a patient connected to multiple clinics using CHR Connect clicks a notification link for an invoice, appointment, or message, they are now directed to the correct clinic on CHR Connect.

  • When you make a payment for a private billing item, it now displays correctly on CHR Connect, instead of showing as cash. Previously, only Stripe and cash payments were displayed correctly.

  • If you configure presenting issues in French and the patient sets their language to French, they now see the French version of the presenting issues.

  • When a patient starts a Qnaire it now opens in their selected language.

  • If you have CHR Connect Pro enabled:

    • If you have self serve check in enabled, patients are now sent a push notification to check into their physical appointment 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment.

Version 25.3.3 - April 15, 2025

  • When a new patient receives an invite to join a clinic, the clinic details remain for easy sign-up if the patient uses Biometrics.

  • The CHR Connect app no longer crashes when a patient clicks Pay in the checkout window of an invoice.

Version 25.3 - March 25, 2025

  • Patients can now easily add an upcoming appointment to their Google or Apple calendar directly from the appointment details section.

  • We added clearer messaging when patients add dependents to their account and no match is found to an existing patient chart in the CHR. This prevents duplicate charts from being created.

  • When patients use Safari, the camera indicator no longer stays active after they leave a virtual visit.

  • If you have CHR Connect Pro enabled:

    • Branding colours now appear in the virtual visit window.

Version 25.2 - February 26, 2025

  • We’ve improved the virtual visit experience by adding screen rotation so patients can quickly switch from portrait to landscape mode.

  • When connecting their account to your clinic, patients with apostrophes in their name can now match with their patient chart.

  • Patients can now check a linked dependent in for a physical appointment. Additionally the Check In button is no longer cut off on Apple mobile devices.

  • We reduced the number of clicks required to add or delete credit cards in the Payment Method section.

  • If you have CHR Connect Pro enabled:

    • We improved the theme colours preview to better display how the colours show on your CHR Connect app.

    • Patients without portal access can now complete Qnaires for their linked dependents who have portal access.

Version 25.1 - February 4, 2025

  • When you disable portal access for a patient, they can connect to your clinic, however they cannot book appointments, or initiate messages. They can perform all other actions, including completing Qnaires, rescheduling or canceling appointments. If you remove access for a patient's dependent, the same applies only for the dependent.

  • When a patient requests an invoice for their dependent, the invoice message now clearly indicates who the invoice is for. Additionally, they can more easily see their credit card details when making a payment.

  • If you have CHR Connect Pro enabled:

    • Patients can now view and complete your clinic's self-initiated Qnaires in the new Documents section of CHR Connect. Refer to Setting up self-initiated Qnaires for CHR Connect.

    • A new Broadcast tab in the Messages section allows patients to view Active or Inactive broadcast messages.

    • The Broadcast section stays visible on the patients homepage even if the patient has not agreed to receive marketing content or if your clinic has no active broadcasts.

    • When a patient receives a push notification for their dependent’s physical appointment they can now click to view the appointment details.

    • Patients no longer receive push notifications for dependents after they are removed from their account.
