TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR) offers three patient-facing interfaces: eBooking, the patient portal, and the patient app (UpPatient). You can collaborate and engage with your patients using these tools, allowing them to play a more active role in their care.

These three interfaces are integrated within the CHR and allow patients to view their demographic information, request appointments, receive automated reminders and complete qnaires.

Patients can also send and receive messages using the patient portal and patient app.

Enabling the interfaces

Clinic

You can enable eBooking per appointment type.

Only the TELUS CHR Support account can enable the patient portal. Contact TELUS CHR Support Team to enable Patient portal for your clinic. See Enabling the patient portal.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Once enabled, you can disable/enable it on a per patient basis.

To add the UpPatient app to your CHR, contact the TELUS Health support team through the in-app support bubble. See Contact us.

Once UpPatient has been added to your account, you can enable the patient app by inviting patients from the patient chart.

Alternatively, patient can also download the app and request access. See Creating an UpPatient account and connecting to a clinic (for patients).
