Improvements

Navigate to the next item in your inbox from anywhere in the CHR

When reviewing an inbox item, you may have to navigate to the patient's chart to verify information. The inbox item automatically minimises. To re-open the minimised inbox item, place your cursor over the bottom-centre of the chart and, next to the Task list, click the item.

Now, when you click the arrow in the bottom-right corner of the inbox item to mark the item as done and to go to the next item, you automatically return to your inbox with the next item opened. This significantly improves your workflow of reviewing inbox items.

Sorting medical conditions in the Health Profile

You can now sort items in the Medical History section of the Health Profile by dragging and dropping them in the order you prefer. For example, if you want to group similar conditions or move the conditions most relevant to you to the top of the list. This reordering reflects in the summary view of a patient’s chart and applies only to the current user. See Recording a patient’s medical history for more information.

Changes to the default appointment reminder timing

The default day and time when appointment reminders are sent to patients changed from 9am on the same day as the appointment to 9 am the day before the appointment. This applies to all new appointment types and reminder templates that you configure. The day and times of the appointment reminders in your existing templates are not changed. See Customising appointment reminders for appointment types for more information.

If you add a custom reminder from the scheduler to an appointment that was already booked, the default time the reminder is now sent to the patient is 24 hours before the appointment. See Managing appointment reminders for a single appointment for more information.

Fixes

Below is a list of bugs we identified and fixed in this release. For more information, contact our TELUS Health support team.

  • When adding or modifying your Qnaire disclaimer, the Remove button was not visible.

  • Since Daylight Saving Time started this year, when prescribing medications the end date was not calculated and displayed accurately.

  • When you created a prescription and added a medication from your frequent list (with saved dosages) but then changed the medication name, the dosages from the frequent medication were not cleared.
