The eBooking tool is mainly used by patients to make/request appointments defined by location, date and time, appointment type, providers, and reason for the visit (presenting issues).
You can configure specific rules for eBooking.
From the main menu, click Settings > Scheduling.
Click the Extra Tab.

Patient can change appointments
Select Enable for your patients to change their appointment (reschedule) after it has been booked using eBooking.
Patient can cancel appointments
If enabled, patients can cancel their appointment after it has been booked using eBooking. See Allowing patients to change or cancel their online appointments using eBooking.

Request Appointment Time Changes
If you allow patients to change their appointments, this allows you to set how much notice your patients must give to reschedule their appointments. See Allowing patients to change or cancel their online appointments using eBooking.
If you have online cancellations enabled, this allows you to set how much notice your patients must give when cancelling their appointments. See Allowing patients to change or cancel their online appointments using eBooking.
Verify Existing Patients
Select Yes or No. If Yes is selected, the eBooking tool verifies the patient against existing patients in your database.
💡 Tip: We recommend selecting Yes.
Show Map and Address on Appointment Letter
This setting applies to the entire domain. If enabled, the clinic address information appears on all appointment letters.
📌 Note: This can be disabled / enabled on appointment type level. See Displaying clinic address and map on eBooking notifications
Provider's Identity Display Option
If the patient is selecting a provider to book the appointment with when using eBooking, this setting determines how the provider’s information will be displayed. Select Name or Initial, Avatar or Name (or Initial) with Avatar.
💡 Tip: You can set which providers patients can book with based on the appointment type they select. See Setting which provider(s) patients can book an appointment type with via eBooking.
Enable "Skip Qnaire for Now" (eBooking)
If enabled, a button appears on the pre-visit Qnaire dialogue box in eBooking, allowing patients to skip the pre-visit qnaires.
Type a customized message in the empty field.
This appears in the Information page of eBooking.
