You can send customized and automated appointment notifications to patients via email or text messages.
⚠️ Important: When possible, use email notifications (which are free) instead of SMS messages (which come at a cost when you exceed your clinic's monthly limit). See SMS overage charges.

Steps
1. From the main menu, click Settings > Notifications.
📌Note: By default, notifications for Patients are displayed.
2. To set up a specific notification, in the General tab, click Default for either EMAIL or SMS.
Based on your selection, the Customize Email Notification or Customize SMS Notification window displays.

3. To customize a notification, refer to the following table:
Field | Description |
Email Title | Enter your email title. |
Patient Actions | Include links to Qnaires to send to patients. |
Location Information | Include the clinic location where patients will be seen. |
Appointment Actions | Include a link to the patient's appointment booking. |

4. Click Save. The message is saved and Customized is displayed next to the notification you just configured.
