If a new provider joins your clinic, you can set them up in a few easy steps.
📌 Note: There is a charge for each provider who uses the TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR). New providers will be automatically included in your TELUS CHR account bill going forward. For more information, see Understanding your CHR account bill.
Adding a new provider in the CHR involves the following tasks:
Inviting the user (administrator).
Signing up for CHR (provider accepts email invitation).
Updating your user profile information (provider).
Setting up the provider's schedule (administrator or provider).
Integrating your CHR account with Teleplan. You will need the provider's name, data centre, billing number, payee number, default service location code, facility ID (Optional), rural retention code (Optional), and shadow billing/encounter record (Optional).
Setting up SRFax. Generally the CHR will already have SRFax configured. If so, there is nothing you need to do. However, if the new provider requires their own SRFax configuration, TELUS Health will need to configure this for you. In that case, you must provide TELUS Health with your SRFax credentials (user number, fax number, password, and the email associated with the SRFax account).
