If a new provider joins your clinic, you can set them up in a few easy steps.
📌 Note: There is a charge for each provider who uses the TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR). New providers will be automatically included in your TELUS CHR account bill going forward. For more information, see Understanding your CHR account bill.
Adding a new provider in the CHR involves the following tasks:
Inviting the user (administrator).
Signing up for CHR (provider accepts email invitation).
Assigning a role and permissions to the new user (administrator).
Updating your user profile information (provider).
Setting up the provider's schedule (administrator or provider).
Integrating with Manitoba Health Billing. You will need the provider's name, account number, physician number, skill code, location of service and any additional settings by location.
Setting up the fax integration. Generally, the CHR will already have a fax integration configured (Integrated eFax or SRFax). If so, there is nothing you need to do. However, if the new provider requires their own fax configuration, TELUS Health will need to configure this for you.
