Improvements
Viewing the Obstetrical Care section in the patient summary
You can now view the Obstetrical Care section from the Summary view of the patient's chart. The current pregnancy and past pregnancies are displayed similarly as in the Health Profile.
To add the Obstetrical Care section, click Add at the bottom of the Summary view.
Applying repeating schedule templates
📌Note: TELUS Health must manually enable this feature following the release. It could take up to 24 hours before you see the functionality.
You can now apply flexible schedule templates and vacation schedule templates to multiple dates at once by specifying Repeat options. For example, you can repeat a flu vaccination clinic template every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the next month.
In Settings > Scheduling > Templates, select the template and click +Dates. Select the Repeat frequency from the list (for example, Every week, Every month, Custom).
You can also quickly remove specific dates before applying them to provider schedules. This is useful if there is a date in the range where the providers aren’t working, such as a holiday. Click the x next to a date and then choose whether you want to remove that date only or that date and future dates.
For more information, refer to Applying flexible schedule templates to provider schedules and Applying time off templates to provider schedules.
Quickly removing a scheduled reminder
You can now quickly remove appointment reminders from the appointment booking window. To remove a reminder, in the Reminders tab, click the X beside the reminder.
Creating an appointment reminder message in French
If you have French enabled in your CHR, you can now write the reminder message in both French and English. Patients see this message in the Additional Comments section of appointment reminders in their primary or secondary language or, if none is set, your account language. This makes it easier to manage patient communication in multilingual clinics.
You can configure the new language-specific message per appointment type or when scheduling group or recurring visits.
To configure the language-specific message, select the appointment type in Settings > Scheduling and then click the Reminder tab. Or, for a specific group visit, click +Add on the schedule and select either Group Visit or Recurring Visit. In the Group Visit window, click the Reminders tab. For more information, refer to Customizing appointment reminders for an appointment type.
⚠️ Important: All existing messages are moved to the Message (English) field. If your clinic already has French text and you want patients to receive the message in both languages, you must manually move the French message to the French field.
Role-based access: Granular permissions for scheduled Qnaires
For clinics using role-based access control, you can now set specific user permissions for Scheduled Qnaires. This improves data security and privacy for patients while providing more flexibility to create customized roles and access levels for users.
The new Scheduled Qnaires permissions you can set are All, List, Create, Read, and Delete. Previously, access to scheduled Qnaires was controlled by the Patients permission. So that no functionality is lost, all users with the Patients permission now automatically have the corresponding Scheduled Qnaires permission.
📌Note: This permission controls only scheduled Qnaires and does not affect manually sending Qnaires, Qnaire responses, attaching Qnaires to appointments, etc.
For more information, refer to Role permission options (role-based access control).
Alberta: Seeing the reason for refused WCB submission files
When a submission file is refused, you can now see the Error Message in the AB WCB billing dashboard. For example, All reports in this batch were refused. This gives you context for the refused status of the submission file.
The Reason Code column in the dashboard has been replaced with an Error Messages column. For more information, refer to Processing Workers’ Compensation Board batch return files (Alberta).
Alberta: C050 and C151 WCB fee codes are archived
Since Alberta WCB assigns the appropriate C050 and C151 fee codes automatically, we archived these codes.
Ontario: Creating inpatient and outpatient bills directly from the CHR
With the new Facility field on a bill, you can now create inpatient and outpatient bills directly from the CHR without editing the bill in MDBilling.
To add the facility number, click Facility > Select One… and search for the institution by name or facility number. When you submit the bill to MDBilling, the facility number is included.
💡 Tip: To set a facility as a favourite, select the star icon beside it.
For more information, refer to Creating provincial bills (Ontario).
Ontario: Setting a default facility and SLI code for insured billing
You can now configure a default Facility Number and Service Location for your MDBilling claims. The default automatically pre-populates when you create a bill, but you can change it.
To set your default, go to Settings > Billing and click the pencil icon beside MDBilling. In the MDBilling window, select your facility from the Facility Number list or your location from the Service Location list, then click Authenticate.
Ontario: Viewing the Quantity and Time Spent in the fee item summary
You can now see the Quantity and Time Spent information directly in the fee item summary view of the insured payment window. This is helpful because you can quickly access this information without opening the fee item.

When you generate an invoice using the Third Party billing template, the Total Due amount displays the correct amount when the status changes.

The Outbox no longer appears blank for some dates.
In the Patient Files section, when sorting by Date in the All tab, all files show again, even when many have the same Date.
